I support Brandon Herrera but even if he does pull off the miracle win in the run-off, he will be so out of place in the GOP that they will treat him like the next Steve King in waiting from day 1. They'll bend over backwards trying to run damage control for a George Santos type, but they will throw a man like Brandon under the bus the first chance they get. With all that said, I still believe there is value in him winning in so far as it will likely further erode partisan trust among voters after they see how he's fucked over by the party.
