Matricide and feliocide: We salute the women of Gaza for their struggle and resilience and, above all, for the humanity they have shown us during their daily fight for their families’ lives amid the horrific deprivation of food, safe drinking water, and healthcare that is being imposed on the people of Gaza. We salute the mothers who are forced to skip meals so they can feed their children, the mothers who carry their babies in their wombs only to have to carry them again to their burial ground, the pregnant mothers who have no safe place to give birth and no access to clean water, and the mothers who have watched their children being gunned down during the Israeli flour massacres.
