@polotek I have very much the same problem. In the abstract, I think we're using the wrong tools. It's a task for art, rather than rhetoric. In many cases, that gap between seemingly obvious things that don't even makes sense to other people is a gap in imagination. Art is the tool that helps people imagine new things.

I'm not sure how, or if, that helps either of us in the specifics.
