okay i think i'm gonna turn jorts off, make a backup, then run the commands to update node.js, PG, the big fat list of system packages in the install docs, yarn, and ruby, like as if i was trying to install masto for the first time

then i'm gonna turn jorts back on and see if it still works

then we'll go from there

if i turn jorts back on and it doesn't work, i'll revert to the backup and start over or something
