- Embed this noticei think i get what the issue with bots auto-closing issues is. it's an expectation mismatch. people who deploy these bots want to treat their bug trackers as support ticket systems (meaning an open ticket represents a user having a problem), and the users who get annoyed with these bots want to use them as bug trackers (meaning an open ticket represents a fault in the product).
i'm intentionally wording this to imply that treating a bug tracker as a support ticket system is wrong, because that's my personal stance on the issue.
