The sane ones: Torx (who calls it 6-lobe?), Hex, Square (in that order)
Anything cruciform is a dead end, specially because it's designed to not hold, meaning you often can't unscrew without drilling the thing or using a flat screwdriver bit.
Slot is only somewhat acceptable for stuff like battery covers where you don't really need something that holds.
