ShoqHardly a scientific study, but as I examined 100 Threads account at random, with few exceptions, known brands and writers had 10-50 times the followings of lesser mortals. I am not sure what it says, but my gut says celebrity influence chasing is every bit as vibrant there, as it was on Twitter. On Mastodon, a new post of mine will almost always generate a few new followers. On Threads, they almost never do after a week. Is it me, them, or it?
