@Aether for real though. This is not Google's fault. The DMCA process is literally written into law. You have to do it the way the law says so.

An amendment to that law needs to be made so that
A) there is more wiggle room around the technical process in which claims are submitted.
B) there is a clear definition of a valid claim that includes providing evidence.
C) false claims are punished harshly.
