@PNS @ned but here is another question, and again I am not a lawyer and have no knowledge of what the law here says.

How far out from the shoreline does the property line extend? If I have a shoreline property, can I build a 300’ dock extending out into the waterway? Is there a limit on the length/size of the dock, sort of like HOA rules? And if that is the case, should it be common knowledge? Is the owner required to post it?

But I still would not have moved.
