@Mondobizarrro - I saw it once, way way way back in the day. There was too much of a disconnect between Macross and Macross II for me so I didn't end up liking it. Didn't hate it, just felt "they probably should have called this something else."

I saw the movie version of Macross Plus a few years ago when my movie riffing group aired it. It also had that "disconnected" feeling, but not nearly as much.
