And it's true, these kinds of outlets do often lie and blow things out of proportion. I think you're too trusting of them, it's very likely a lot of their stories only exist to generate outrage and drive up clicks. But that's not the only thing a lot of us build our picture of what's going on in the world from-- there are tons of interviews outside of such rags with people who actually had thier kids taught using "gender unicorns" and being asked to bring in opposite-sex clothes for a "gender odyssey" exercise, as well as interviews with young adults who were fast-tracked into transitioning and now regret it. It would be pretty difficult to orchestrate all this to promote some fake narrative. As well as the fact that a lot of the people driving this stuff, people who have made it into positions on school boards, have websites and literature they distribute that explains exactly what they're trying to do.
Point is, look for corroboration, don't just accept this junk.
