Surely these standardized tests that I'm so good at are measuring something meaningful?

And then i spent 18 months teaching the children of the rich to do better on their standardized tests (the SAT etc).

For a few hundred dollars, your child can move from "below average" to "just above average" in six weeks of teaching directly to the test

These tests are a shibboleth for membership in the ruling class
