We are here protesting the ongoing human rights violation against Sámi people in Norway.
502 days ago, the supreme court of Norway ruled the wind turbines on Fovsen-Njaarke reindeer herdig district illegal. This is exactly what we have been telling them for years!
Yet, with all the information in the ruling, the Norwegian government has failed to act.
Wind turbine parks and reindeer herding cannot coexist. We demand the wind turbines to be taken down and the land to be restored and returned to the reindeer herders of Fovsen-Njaarke.
We are being isolated. The government is trying their hardest to silence us and the ongoing human rights violation.
