The problem is that none of these are real replacements though. It's great they're moving, but all of the sites I've seen thus far are replacements for things like Twitter. Having to track down artists individually and then sift through a sea of social media posts to get to the actual content, all without tags or a search function, is a massive downgrade. But nobody wants to run an alternative site, because "that's hard" or "that's expensive". Which is ironic, given that hosting these days is probably cheaper and easier than ever before. :yuudachi_tired:
