@PamelaDrew @Bunsen Your wildlife consists of rats the size of housecats that crawl across people passed out in your Mad Max style subway cars, insane, shouting, murderous homeless people, and cockroaches. The only time NYC hasn't been an open, festering cesspit in the last 70 years was when Giuliani came in and cleaned it up, and you all hated him for it. The rest of the time it's been some real life version of the old move The Warriors or Taxi driver. 40% of he city's population was born out of the country, and a hell of a lot of those are illegals leaching off of tax payer funded largesse. The city has become so filthy, so dysfunctional, so awful, people are moving out to live in fucking New Jersey.

You don't have an American city, no community. You have a creaking, bloated, non-functioning economic zone filled with angry strangers. The city and people of New York City are hostile to anything actually American, and hostile to actual Americans. Back during 9-11, everyone everywhere in the country felt sick and angry at what happened, even those that had never been to the city. We all wanted to help. Today a meteor could strike the Empire State Building, vaporize the 5 boroughs, and no one would shed a tear. Most of us care as much for NYC as the slums of Rio or Mumbai. It is a hostile alien place filled with hostile alien people. May you live forever, and forever live in New York City.
