   And this is why I love the 90s simplicity of things. Was it more primitive? Yes. Was it less functional? It depends. But one thing for sure, it wasn't 90% bloat for monetization like it is now.
   
   It's not just "nostalgia". Look at this! Same website, but in the late 90s/early 2000s. What's more functional?

     Both accomplish the same goal: display a text with an article.
     
     One does it right. The other one doesn't.
