   People who use a bridge between Mastodon and #Bluesky, what service do you use, and what are your thoughts on using it?

     @arielkroon I am using Bridgy Fed. On one hand, it is great to follow BlueSky accounts here and for some of my posts to be there. But the implementation is clunky. From here, you can't manage your BlueSky account (as far as I know). I don't blame the bridge but incompatible technologies with restrictions. For example, any post here over 300 characters is truncated on BlueSky. I never really understood the rationale for BlueSky's tech - not from a tech partisian lens, just as a curious outsider.

     Are you trying to just post on one service? When you use Bridgy Fed, it does create a new profile for you.

     Here is mine:

     https://bsky.app/profile/seanbala.mas.to.ap.brid.gy

     It also works in the other direction - you can make it so your Bluesky account is here.

     This organization also has a service called Bounce which allows you to move between services.

     I also think there are apps that allow you to post at the same time to both services.

     Any luck with finding a solution?

     @seanbala I have an existing bsky account and I wanted to be able to hook up this masto account with bsky, but it seems that's not possible...
