Got to see my cats kittens for the first time
These were the best photos I could get at the time being, didn't want to spook them too much
There's 3 that I see. 2 oranges and a black (yay black kitty!)
After some initial hissing, they let me pet and hold them and everything :peachcat_blush:
They are about a month old now and still living in an old shed so excuse the junk

Livestock don't get names. If they do, they stop being livestock and start being pets. You must always detach from the livestock. Wilds can have names.

We used human names. My cat, for example, was Eirik. We also had Vana and Ingrid.

@Dagnar @KiKi88 I used to chose human names for my animals until my early 30's, but when I stopped keeping pets and livestock and watching exclusively over the wild ones I switched naming conventions.

@KiKi88 Fair enough, I'm terrible at naming animals, I just call them by some identifying feature or the like.
I look forward to seeing more pics of them and hearing your observations.

Momma kitty came around about a year ago, she couldn't have been more than 6-7 months old at the time
She was never really feral though, just a little shy at first like most stray kittys
But I have like 5 sheds, and of course she chooses to stay in the one with a bunch of crap in it :hk_smh:
Edit- I also read that wrong
These are different kittens. The others I guess didn't make it apparently
But she didn't waste much time popping out some more

No names yet,I only just seen them today
Might wait til they find their personalities to give them names but I'll probably just end up calling them "kitty" anyways :animu_laugh:

@KiKi88 Ah bless, animals can be qute wilful and some would rather be alone for things like giving birth. So are these not the kittens of the feral cat that was hiding out in your shed or did you fully adopt her?
They look healthy, and cute, and very fluffy and squishy.
Have you started picking out names yet?

I tried keeping my cat inside before she gave birth but she was not having it, even scratched me
Kept us up all night so we let her back out
Sure enough, a day later, I notice she dropped some weight :animu_laugh:
They're very healthy and friendly
I just wanna squish em :hk_love:

@KiKi88 Oh wow, I haven't asked about them in some time but I am glad they've made an appearance and they look so cute too. They're looking well, which is a good sign.
