So many folks just reliving out 2011 and 2020 in my replies; gonna say to you now, what I said to folks just like you then.

There are people in the streets, opposing the regime. Yet you're not out there, not organizing, not teaching, not explaining why it's bigger than Trump. No, you're in my replies telling me why conditions are not ripe for a better world.

And that's why you'll never get it.

At least «The Atlantic» clearly pointed out how, due to utter failure of the Libs to resist, the “cardboard-carrying opposition arrived“, so in the end it's quite simple:

Your'e either showing up in sufficient numbers or you're shutting up about it and if you don't like to get thrown under the boots of a fascist regime, the latter simply is not an option any longer, meaning you simply need to show up in person. It's not that hard, is it. 😇

Too many of you don't understand the difference between "the Democratic Party" and "regular people who vote Democrat" because "they" hurt you back in 2016, and you'll never forget

But if you're not willing to make a meaningful distinction between rich people who mean you harm, and your class allies who vote for the blue team because the other option is worse, you will never build power, and you will never affect change. It's a miracle you're not a Dore/Taibbi "leftist" already with that mindset

In 2008, I was "just a lib." Pretty sure a solid 95% of the people reading this post were, at one point, "just a lib."

I got some news for you; if you're waiting for the moment in American history when millions of SOCIALISTS with fully formed political positions and ideologically consistent praxis "rise up" and take out the fuck barrel, you made a massive mistake and should have gotten a job on Wall Street years ago because you'll always be waiting.

If you're an American, you live in a country where Reaganite conservatives are called "the left" and the actual left gets shot/murdered/jailed about once every 30-40 years. When we stand up by ourselves, only with the people who "get it" we get the end of the rile, or the concrete of the prison cell immediately. Now, in a situation where you can work freely with people PRIMED to hear what you have to say, nothing is good enough because "they're all just libs."

      Newsflash; you live in America.
