    Wales plant ein Gesetz gegen Lügen in der Politik: Wer im Wahlkampf bewusst falsche Aussagen macht, soll strafrechtlich verfolgt werden. Politiker:innen, die bewusst täuschen, müssen künftig öffentlich ihre Aussagen widerrufen, riskieren eine Suspendierung und im Extremfall den Verlust ihres Mandats. Das Gesetz soll 2026 in Kraft treten.
