   @mia @snacks its annoying to learn how much the government and others have really made those job slots precious.
   
   you'll wonder why they can't just hire a secretary for the high performing yet rude wrench turner and nobody will really answer the question but you do run in to shit like having to buy stacks of licenses per-person and then the state drops by with random limits
   
   "oh you have more than 30 people? EEOC reporting!" "oh its more than 200? obamacare!" and the general maze of how hiring a single person actually causes cascades of paperwork that helps no-one

     @mia @snacks some of the fintech places strategically amputate their employee count for the express purpose of getting to avoid filing the DEI paperwork and other forms of count-thresholded government doxxings
