   @helge I think there is only one type of actor, and it is a JSON document with inbox and outbox properties. Requests are sent and received by servers, not actors.

   In the server-centric model of Fediverse everything is simple and clear, I wrote about this previously. Whereas in the actor-centric model, even the most basic things can not be explained without adding epicycles.

     Thinking more about this...
     I would prefer to define actor as "an entity that produces activities". The property indicating this capability is outbox.
