so my boss said i am not allowed to take naps in the lounge couch during lunch breaks anymore, he said some shit about how i should "live up to professional standards in appearance" at first i thought he just meant that it was not professional to sleep on the couch, but the idea didn't bother him when i first asked him if i was allowed to do that.
i am starting to think the real reason he doesn't want me to take power naps anymore is because half the time i do when i wake up, i wake up on full mast.

@themilkman something like this happened to me at a job. I used to take my lunch break to do other little hobby things and they took me aside and said it looked like I wasn't working.

@sun Once, I brought a tablet and was reading about the algorithms used in navigation software during downtime at work. People in other departments complained to my boss that I wasn't working. I was told that I could take some of the superficial internal training courses, but couldn't read self-educate with outside materials because of appearances.
