@miah yes, if your prior connection was mobile, then indeed that seems a huge step!!
I've never heard of services not being allowed, but of course the other side should also have IPv6 connectivity for any services to work out. If you have a public IPv4 address as well, it would practically always work and you could also arrange IPv6 connectivity over a VPN connection for networks that still lack IPv6. I'm using OpenVPN on a Turris Omnia (with Turris OS which is OpenWRT-based) myself.
