     I take it you made the mistake of configuring your x server without permanent errors and thus got little free space there? ;-)

     @jeffcliff If you do your x server config right, it is like collecting bottles (in systems with a deposit) for people that barely scrape by...

     Joke aside, what's the real problem here? Did you just mash everything onto one partition, are you reluctant to separate your /home?
     Windows may be made to cause this problem, but how does one get it on linux? Even if you're cost conscious, some disk for spreading out your data should be possible to come by?

     I do understand the reason behind your stalking budget running out, but this one has me stumped.

     @whoopsie no i've got like 20 partitions on like 8 hard drives, they just happened to be all fulluntil like 2 days ago when my fiance bought me a new hard drive. now i've just gotta move the data around so that it fits again
