     Of your entire nervous system holds memories, all of it, more than just the brain and the spinal parts, but also all the peripherals -
     
     if you amputate your arm, you lose some memories. Perhaps, some "muscle memories?". Perhaps, some triggers for activating remembrance of other memories?
     
     I'm completely convinced, that for example, climbing technique motions orderings are held partially in the peripheral. But i have no proof.
