   @pfefferle Hey sorry to randomly put my fuzzy snout in your timeline, but between searching and coming up with not much I've been directed your way haha

   I'm just wondering with all your experience at this point with people pecking your head about it, are you aware of some hosts that it doesn't work out with the ActivityPub plugin? Or is this potentially a long "find out what's wrong" process that I should list out details? XD

     the one host that I am aware of, where the plugin does not work is Siteground.

     we started a list of hosts here: https://github.com/Automattic/wordpress-activitypub/wiki/Hosting

     but feel free to describe your issue, maybe I can help!?! (if you do not host on Siteground)

     @pfefferle Yeah, HostGator here,

     It *kind of* works as you can search my profile ( @DarkOverord@darkoverord.info ), if I search a post URL in Mastodon it resolves as you'd expect. Site health reports no errors for ActivityPub

     But I can't follow it (falls in to pending as far as this end's concerned), and as far as I can tell replies don't go back to my site to approve either.

     maybe you have to contact their support and ask if they maybe block post requests with the Accept header "application/activity+json".

     @DarkOverord I am not sure why, but I haven’t found that thread using the WordPress forums search either… I had to use Google to find it 😏
