It feels appropriate to post about #SoftwareFreedomDay on the Fediverse. Many of us wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Free Software. I run both #Misskey & #Mitra which I find both quite fantastic in their own right.

(this could be free software, but I don't see any sources).
They also link straight to facebook, google "meet" for the main meeting (instead of the far superior free software Galène - with "fosstdon.org" being secondary
To be honest, every day in software freedom day on fully free systems running the Church of Emacs, so it doesn't need a day of its own and one should probably avoid being lead astray by proprietary software pushers. -

Either federation is broken, they're using another instance or they're posting to facebook instead (I get the feeling it's the latter, but there's no freedom-respecting way to check).
