     It's also a super cheap chinese radio, so I don't think so. My baofeng is plugged into the boondock echo, receive mode only on the local repeater. Cheap hw useful that way.
     
     If you want nice clean radio transmissions, go see what dx engineering is selling.

     @tyler @0 @JoshuaSlocum yeah, the baofengs are pretty damned noisy, tend to step on other frequencies when they transmit really badly, as far as i understand it.
