   yeah okay so I confirmed that 90% of this program's startup time is just waiting for the antivirus to okay "get last modified datestamp on file" checks. Jesus christ that's frustrating.

     @RustyCrab apparently IDEs do some shit to exclude their lsp artifacts from windows defender/whatever, might wanna look into that, or look into how malware does it kek :02_derp:

     @munir tried that. It doesn't do anything.
     I think all these antiviruses just turn off the actually warnings but do the same monitoring on all processes still. The only way to stop it is to turn off realtime protection altogether but the IT jeets won't let you do that obviously
