     I had a Hackintosh on 10.5/10.6 I used for years. After I got a real mac laptop with 10.7, I went back to Linux in a VM for a while. When I got a free Xeon someone was throwing out, I used it as a Gentoo desktop and never looked back.

     @pro i found out about them because tally arbiter had a blurb about using them on cameras for recording.
