     @Eiregoat That's always it, isn't it? It's the old chicago way of seeing things if you want a contract from the city. "We don't want nobody, nobody didn't send."
     The entirety of life is on hold because of some back room... and (((back room))) connections soaking every last shekel from the entire world.
     And yet the people suffer.

     I think solar concentrators are hugely overlooked compared to photovoltaic panels.
     
     A lot of the problem is that there's huge government subsidies for everything PV but very little for concentrators.

     @Eiregoat @AngryWraith Concentrators expose the world to an open hazard (don't walk in front or you're blind and cooked) while PV is diffuse and behind the scenes (pollution, waste, etc.) and everyone always likes diffuse hazards over exposed ones.

     @AngryWraith @Eiregoat Exactly what I mean. With PV, you could make an electrified floor but everything could be buried and buttoned up all pretty. Concentrators into a hole under your house tell the world "THIS GUY IS A COMIC BOOK VILLAIN".
