   @swiff I ran a game with a PC who you could tell the emotional state of based on what they were wielding. Their magical sword was a greatsword when they felt heroic, and a rapier when they didn't feel strong.

     "Magical ancient weapon which reforms itself into the preferred weapon of its wielder" is one of my favorite fantasy tropes
