     2/Homemade
     Everything here is homemade from the furniture to the beer. I also make my own clothes and I grow some of my vegetables. But sometimes, I dream of just going into a store and buy something useless made in China.

     In many religious traditions, water had a meaning of purification. Now that we have to pay for non poisonous water, they use other symbols like, for example the wind or the silence.

     This child never drinks water. He doesn't like the taste of it. His parents give him fruit juice or soda, convinced that his preferences will change when he gets older. I'm not so sure.

     Before being the great mixologist that you know, I spent years mixing all I could and trying to understand how it worked. Many of my creations were horrible, but I kept learning from each single error. Keep trying. That's my messages.

     My grandmother used to have this patchouli perfume which I loved, as a child. Now that she's gone, I sometimes catch this odour in the air, when I think about her or when I pass one of her ghosts.

     The physicist briefly watched his wife stirring the cake mixture. It could have helped him to understand the forces implied into the tornado phenomenon, but he considered cooking as such a stupid activity, that he didn't care.

     They will feel the bitterness when drinking the poison of which no trace will be found in their blood. The substance will make them slow and rather inefficient, until the too much guilt level that leads to suicide.

     Because of their poverty, the clothes that the poor wear are less robust than the richs’ ones. Their lye is also more corrosive, which doesn't help. The poorer you are, the more you'll pay, the harder you’ll work to get out of misery.

     When we go to the hospital, the doctor always measures my height and weight while I am trying to tell him about what matters to me, my increased knowledge of the world and its rules. Today, I'll keep silent. I'm really learning.
