It feels quite surreal that yesterday I talked face to face with the professor whose comments almost made me drop out of university and said, “What you’re doing in this residency is 100% within my expertise, I’ve been doing it for 6 years — here’s how you can fix it.”

And they took it in. They listened to every single thing I had to say.
