Hi @pmmueller on the blog profile i should put @xkomodotcom or just xkomodotcom@xkomo.com like this?
@Ernesthy
Glad it helped.
“Pretty print” is some code. Not sure why it appears. Reloading the page helps I think
@pmmueller @Ernesthy this happens if you use caching that does not support content negotiation
I disabled Authors (too many feeds otherwise) and put blog@domain.name in the ActivityPub settings.
All messages come from the blog, it looks good in the Mastodon profile and I think that the doubled domain name looks kind of funny.
Only disadvantage so far is that Mastodon shortens the user name if it is mentioned in a message. So it appears as just @ blog (without the space).
But you can e.g. also choose your name or something else.
@pmmueller, so for the profile name in the blog profile section, is the writing correct?
Is it okay to turn off the "Enable authors" option? Just enabling "enable blog" is enough, and the ActivityHub feature can still work and the articles on the website can still be connected to the Fediverse?
@Ernesthy

... if your website is example.com, then the blog-wide profile can be found at @example.com@example.com.
> Is it okay to turn off "Enable authors"?
If I understand it correctly, the option just generates more feeds that can be followed in the Fediverse, one per author with the user name of the author.
So if your website is a one-man-show enabling both is a bit of an overkill.
@pmmueller thank you for your response, it's helped me a lot.
By the way, why sometimes does this pretty print appear on the website when click the link to an article?
When I click on your article too this happens.
@pfefferle @pmmueller So, what is the solution to this issue?
Only disabled cache plugin?
@Ernesthy @pmmueller I started a list here https://github.com/Automattic/wordpress-activitypub/wiki/Caching
Thanx a lot for the list! I will pass it on ...
However, block themes are so fast that I disabled caching altogether on sites using them 😇
@pfefferle @pmmueller
Thank you for that list.
After I checked that list and found this article using openlitespeed plugin too.

And I just tried that code for now, I hope this article can help.
