   A lot of paint for what is already a quiet, dead end street. But it does provide an important connection around a golf course for the 6.5km 'West creek pathway', connecting the south of Toowoomba to the shopping centre and train station in central Toowoomba.

     Weirdly ABC News is running this story with the headline "What happens when you give cyclists more rights on the road? This city is finding out"

     But, of course, nothing about this road changes the rights of cyclists on this road. Queensland law says a cyclist can take up a whole lane. This road design isn't changing the rights of cyclists, it's just explaining them better to drivers.
