   You know that 'feature' on birbsite where you might be scrolling your feed and suddenly it'll refresh it and load an entirely new set of posts and you can either spend half an hour trying to find the post you were in the middle of reading or just accept it's a losing battle?

   Yeah that doesn't happen here. The joys of zero algorithms and chronological timelines. ^.^

     @Curator@mastodon.art Sadly Misskey has a bug with similar behavior (despite being non-algorithmnic), but Calckey fixes that! It's a pretty simple fix which I PR'd to Misskey but they haven't merged it yet, last time I checked...

     @thatonecalculator At least it's only happening there because of a bug and will eventually be fixed XD

Kinda interesting actually why it happened -- the Chat UI is set to scroll to default view upon getting a new message, but they forgot to unset the listener, so if you open a chat conversation and then go back to the timeline, every new message someone sends you would scroll the timeline view back to default :P
