   Puzzle games seems to just have overall completely disappeared from the mainstream. Nobody ever fucking talk about 'em anymore
   
   These games used to basically rule the 90s and especially 00s online "shareware" scene. The 00s era of small software house to even indie devs making these by the ton. Now, they seem to not even exist anymore, because they're not visible
   
   So here's a puzzle games sales and showcase

     @coolboymew @prettygood Last Call BBS is a collection and has enough easy games to make it comfortable. but i would recommend Opus Magnum.
     
     zachtronics in general is very special in having a fantastic learning curve. each step only adds a little obstacle and you never feel overwhelmed by mechanics. other similar puzzle games struggle to match this

     @coolboymew I've played all of the "The Room" games and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Not the most brain-bending puzzles but a great aesthetic.
     
     The "We Were Here" series is a great co-op puzzle series too, but if one person knows the answer it can be hard to STFU lol
     
     TIS-100 is terrific if you have programmer brain like I do.
