@MadrePappagallo @Turkleton @UnCL3 @brokeassredneck @givenup Falconry is big in my home country of Kazakhstan. One of the more popular hunting birds is the golden eagle. I've read these things are savage and can easily attack jackals and goats!

Turkey vultures are rare here, but last year I saw one in my neighbor's yard and I was like WTF is that? It was huge. It was just the one too, but damn they are big.

I never see them in my area, only racoons, groundhogs, skunks, and the occasional deer. I've seen whole deer families cross through my neighborhood at night. In fact my sis almost wrecked her car one night because of them.

@MadrePappagallo @brokeassredneck @Turkleton @UnCL3 @givenup A lot of opossums, foxes, skunks, ground hogs and deer here. A ton of turkey live in a thicket nearby, and my fiance pointed out snapping turtles and muskrats in a nearby retention pond. Also plenty of turkey vultures, , ducks, Canadian geese, hawks, ospreys and bald eagles darken the skies. Bats come out in the evening too.
I actually find it fascinating how the snappers and muskrats coexist in the same space!

@brokeassredneck Not really tbh. I hope to one day see a marten in the wild. We have them but they are very rarely spotted.
