   @shoq I’d agree with one caveat. Once the bean counters see server costs rise they’ll figure out how to cut it back to the bone even more mercilessly than they treat humans in support boiler rooms.

     I can’t speak for you, but in my view, if chat AI does nothing more than revolutionize the absolutely miserable state of phone menus (IVR), and all other forms of phone support, it will have earned its place in tech history and my heart. (And probably prevent a few rage killings, too.)
