@Ed_Carley @bhawthorne Depending on where you live, fruit trees also lure bears into residential areas, which never ends well for the bears. But the problem is solved if tree owners harvest the fruit. Around here, volunteers harvest it, take some and donate some. Any not fit for human consumption is donated to a wild animal sanctuary for their bears.
