   @Ed_Carley @bhawthorne Depending on where you live, fruit trees also lure bears into residential areas, which never ends well for the bears. But the problem is solved if tree owners harvest the fruit. Around here, volunteers harvest it, take some and donate some. Any not fit for human consumption is donated to a wild animal sanctuary for their bears.

     @bhawthorne there is plenty. Which is why adding fruit trees to the menu isn’t the best idea. I’ve been around fruit trees and they can also be a huge mess.
