   Was curious if it's possible to rip 3D blurays (it is, makemkv supports them) and in my googling it seems that people regularly watch them on VR headsets

     @ic7@frogs.lgbt ive tried a few 3d movies in vr and i found them even more underwhelming than i did when i tried an actual 3d tv (probably because my standards have been raised so much higher since being exposed to actual vr)

     I have a bunch of 3d blurays from when I had a 3dtv back in the day, never bothered to rip any yet. Now I can watch them as the creators intended: blurry, painful, and with a scuba mask strapped to my face

     Lmao I found the home theater test movie and ripped it. How the hell is it over 2 and a half hours long

     It makes sense of course but it's funny to see 3D movies always lurking in the background even though the general populous never cared, outside theaters anyway
