What are 4 things you’ve learned that you don’t want to ever forget?
It’s been four years since COVID shook the world to its core
What are 4 things you’ve learned that you don’t want to ever forget?
My four learnings
1. More people care than I recognize - and it's in my best interest to focus on building with them, rather than fighting with naysayers.
2. White supremacy is a delusion that's harmful to us all. Unfortunately, that delusion is steeped so deep into our culture and beliefs. Everyone’s.
3. White people are responsible for fixing and cleaning up the mess of racism. Oh, and snapping out of the delusion of white supremacy.
4. National government is important and we should be aware of it - but we should be investing our energy to local then state issues first. That is the best way to affect change that will impact you and your neighbors most.
