   @apophis @eris @galena @bl00d not in itself, vgs and bleem were both commercial emulators and ruled completely legal, yuzu just did naughty things behind the scenes which soured their case completely for any potential backers

     @allison @apophis @bl00d @eris @galena even if the archilles heel of modern-day emulation turns out to be encryption keys, it should be trivial to drop support for decrypting roms on-the-fly inside the emulator, and instead force users to decrypt their collection permanently with other apps
     
     Accessibility will take a hit, but what are you going to do as long as we're still ruled by corporations :yui_shrug:
