   a 100GB BDXL M-Disc costs ~$15 USD but will last over 100 years in non-special storage. It's kinda tempting to use them for occasional critical backups.
   
   The question I guess is how hard will it be to get a BluRay drive in 100 years?

     @BlinkRape @s8n I see it as a possible alternative to tape backups. Tape machines are very expensive, while M-Disc burners are very cheap. At a certain scale it makes sense.
