   COVID *can* be neurotropic, has affinity for dopaminergic neurons & the olfactory bulb.

   It also fucks up mitochondria & the immune system.

   It can also erase any glial-maintained distinctions through blood-brain barrier permeability changes.

     @hannu_ikonen Can you explain the connection between Descartes and the Corona things in the toot before?

     I had a bit of philosophy in high school (it was mandatory) > 20 years ago but I‘m not sure what you mean (not even sure if we covered Descartes or I simply forgot everything)

     The sheer ignorance on display of Human Exceptionalism in still framing things through the lens of Rene Descartes 600 years later is absolutely astonishing to me.
