     @kirby The solution to almost every linux audio problem is to uninstall pulse.

     @Zergling_man i couldnt get mumble to stop being recorded in the monitor for my speakers. it was causing really bad echoing in mumble. the fix is a config file. maybe ill just use sndio instead.
