   @gamer @sun_eat3r idk my ultimate objective is to make some stuff that has some appeal besides just being "linux / foss" music lol. i don't really care about that stuff here.

     @gamer @sun_eat3r yeahh, i understand the struggle. it took me years to properly embrace it all but i think it works really well for the styles of music i enjoy producing. i feel like i could go really out of my comfort zone with whatever though. my setup isn't any less janky than it was on windows really, and in a lot of ways its better :)

     @wizard@xyzzy.link @sun_eat3r@goreslut.xyz i respect that and have no problems with other people doing it but trust me when i say (and i have made posts about this extensively) that linux is just not a music making tool for me, as the friction of importing and adjusting my entire workflow to accomodate all the little incompatibilities is just not viable and will make me NOT want to make music
