     @MoeBritannica they could deal a massive blow to piracy by forming some sort of industry group for intercompatibility and revenue sharing so their customers could watch pretty much whatever content they wanted regardless of who their streaming or cable provider was
     instead they'll have even more frequent jew fights over licensing that split up the shit people want to watch across 17 different platforms and will be legitimately confused why folks aren't falling over themselves to shell out $497 a month for all of them

     @skylar @MoeBritannica yup. there was an early move advantage for a few people for removing their content from netflix, but we're past that.
